Business Opportunity

The business opportunity within Shaklee is similar to that of any MLM today. After analyzing the compensation structure the conclusion is the average person will not achieve any substantial success within Shaklee. While the products are good and can effect your life in a positive way, the business model is out dated and not set up for the average person. The amount of people needed to create a solid six figure income would enter the thousands.

Every Other Day Diet – Jon Benson Scam?

Every Other Day Diet, also known as QOD, is a popular diet used for weight loss. It involves alternating normal eating days with low-calorie days. While you don’t technically fast on the low-calorie days, you do significantly reduce your calorie consumption. On the low-calorie days, dieters limit their caloric intake to 300 non-protein calories. Since dieters know that a normal eating day is coming soon, they can often avoid feeling deprived and stick to the diet plan.

Determine your daily caloric needs. You can use online calorie calculators to do this. You merely enter your gender, age, height, weight and activity level. The tool will then give you the amount of calories you need daily. This is the amount of calories you will consume on alternate days.

Begin the diet with a low-calorie fast day. On this day, you must eat no more than 300 non-protein calories. These are calories that come from fats or carbohydrates.

Drink lots of water on your low-calorie fast days. Oftentimes, you may feel hungry when you are actually thirsty. Avoid dehydration by sipping water throughout the day. Keep a bottle nearby at all times to keep hunger sensations at bay.

Consume the number of calories you determined to be your daily caloric need on your normal days. Though the exact number will vary depending on your personal specifications, men should generally be eating between 1,800 and 2,400 calories on these days. Women should normally be eating between 1,400 and 1,800 calories on these days.

Alternate low-calorie fasting days with normal calorie consumption days.

Choose healthy, nutritious foods on your normal consumption days. Though you don’t have to be terribly strict on your normal days, they are not opportunities to binge on junk food. Instead, opt for well-balanced foods that provide you with vitamins and nutrients.

Take calcium and magnesium supplements daily. You may need to take fiber supplements if you experience constipation on your fasting days. Since you are consuming very few calories on your fasting days, these supplements are necessary to remain balanced.

Every Other Day Diet works by increasing your body’s metabolism and making it burn more calories by changing your eating patterns. For every other day, you will be eating highly nutritious and high protein foods that will create a calorie deficit for your body to burn fat. On the rest of the days, you can actually be able to eat whatever foods you want but at a controlled quantity.

With the Every Other Day Diet Guides, you will be able to calculate the optimal quantities and types of foods you should eat on your diet days.

Muscle Building Books – Are They Just A Scam?

Getting a great body by using muscle building books is a good idea but beware you don’t fall into the trap of jumping from book to book. One of the problems in getting routines and ideas from books is that many of the people writing them have differing views on what works and what doesn’t. Sure, each of these programs probably works okay in it’s own right but what we’re saying is don’t get caught in paralysis analysis by confusing yourself with the many different inerpretations.Find one and stick with it. Going with well know fitness experts is a good place to start. One of the safest paths to take in finding the most suitable muscle building book for you is to speak to a gym center fitness trainer. They will usually have completed extensive training in all things fitness and you’ll at least have a starting point of where to look.  Considering Muscle Building BooksConsider how difficult the program outlined is. It may well have worked for the person writing it but will it work for you? Will there be issues such as health that may prevent you from performing the routines being taught.Consider dietary needs. Diet and building muscle is a real issue and to get the best results, what you eat and drink will have a major bearing. How about nutrition? Vitamins and minerals need to be covered in many respects as the stress your body can be put under means that food will not be enough in aiding the recovery process.  Stick With What WorksWhen you begin your search for the best muscle building books you want to look for books that have worked for other people in the past. When you shop online you should look at reviews that other customers have given the book. Doing this will help you get an idea for the quality of the book and if the book is right for you. This will also give you an idea of what to expect once you start using the program. Muscle building books can really help a lot if used properly. A large quantity of books on building muscle focus on working out all of your muscles at the same time. The key to building muscle is working hard and eating foods that have high quality protein. Books for building muscle can aid you in developing a routine that works well for you. This way you can get the results you want without paying a trainer hundreds of dollars.

Acai Weight Loss Berry Good or Berry Good Scam?

Oprah sure is a popular I guess that goes without saying. She talks about Acai Weight loss on her show, and all of a sudden you can’t go five minutes without hearing about this mystical, magical berry. But is there a real connection between Acai berries and weight loss? Or is it just this year’s new fad? It’s more complicated than a simple yes or no answer. Let’s take a look at the facts: The Acai berry is a bitter fruit that originates from Brazil. The Acai is soft, so Acai is pronounced, ah-sigh. Acai berries have very high levels of antioxidant’s much more than blueberries, the first antioxidant fruit to be marketed as such. The berry also contains fiber, healthy fats, and vitamins and minerals that are good for you. The health claims made about the Acai berry are due primarily to its antioxidant properties. Antioxidants help our bodies get rid of free radicals, or by-products, of the oxygen used by our cells. Oxidative damage can be linked to diabetes, heart disease and even cancer, so any food high in antioxidants would lower those risks. The health benefits of the Acai berry can be gotten by eating the fruit or by drinking the juice. (It is also said that the pulp is the most nutritious part.)The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has found no evidence that the Acai berry aids in weight loss. Oprah did not talk about any one Acai-based product, nor does she endorse any currently on the market; she simply talked about its health benefits. Acai berry juice, like all fruit juices, is high in calories and (natural) sugar. Acai as a dietary supplement can be successful. But, the term dietary supplement has a nutritional definition, not a weight loss one. The purpose of a dietary supplement is to give your body the vitamins and minerals it may be lacking; it doesn’t mean it will help you lose weight.  Acai pills and other concentrated forms of the fruit are not meant to be taken alone – meaning, you can’t pop an Acai pill and then sit down to a double cheeseburger. The final verdict is this: While a weight loss plan that includes Acai is a great one, it’s not meant to be a substitute for a healthy, low-calorie diet and consistent exercise. There is no such thing as a true Acai weight loss pill, powder or juice.

Understanding Height Enhancement to Avoid Scams

Height is something essential, not only to adults but especially to young people. Puberty is the age in which everything is practically noticed and this is also the age that will play a major impact in somebody’s development of self-esteem. If a person is small, he is subject to ridicule and he becomes the laughing stock of many individuals. There are many height enhancement programs being introduced not only in campuses but in the television as well. There are such things as cream that will make your legs longer, vitamins, height pads, and so on.

In reality, height enhancement is not something that you can just do with high hopes of great expectations. Height is not something that you can manipulate. Although you can definitely do some things to help out in your physiology, height is not like cutting or growing your hair. Your being tall or short has something to do with genes. If you come from a lineage or race that is not really made of tall people, you cannot expect to reach six feet in height. Perhaps the maximum you can get is the average five feet.

It is also true that nutrition and environment are great factors in determining your height. Milk, calcium, wheat, and vitamin D are all famous foods or food supplements that increase the potential of growing taller. However, height enhancement is also coupled with some activities that will help the body such as sleeping or exercising.

Do not believe in the height enhancement programs you see in which all you need to do is to buy height patches and apply them on your skin. There is actually no truth to these claims. Height is controllable only to a certain degree but it is not something that you can manipulate. Also, keep in mind that if these claims were true, then more than half of the world’s population now is playing basketball.
